Two of the top talents on the Notre Dame roster will be spending time in the South Bend community this July.

Joe Alt and Audric Estime have partnered with NextGen Camps to host a youth football camp in South Bend on July 22nd. Former Fighting Irish star Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah will be joining them, too. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Saint Joseph’s High School, the trio will be spending time teaching the game. Registration is currently open for $150.

Kids will be able to take photographs and grab autographs with the players, while also will receiving a camp T-shirt. Plans are in place for a 7-on-7 tournament, a linemen challenge and combine testing.

Thanks to NIL, Alt and Estime will be able to profit off their work at the camp. The duo will be key to Notre Dame bouncing back in Year 2 of the Marcus Freeman era. A former four-star offensive tackle, Alt was tabbed as one of the top 10 college football players ahead of the 2023 season. The AP All-American has started 21 consecutive games for the Fighting Irish.

In his first year seeing serious playing time, Estime carried the ball 156 times this past season for 920 yards. Averaging 5.9 yards per carry, he tallied 11 touchdowns. He will be a major piece of Notre Dame’s 2023 offense.

Owusu-Koramoah was a Butkus Award winner and the 2020 ACC Defensive Player of the Year during his time in South Bend. He was drafted in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.

Youth camps continue to provide reliable NIL opportunities

Since the inception of NIL in July 2021, youth camps have become a popular way for athletes to monetize their publicity rights. It’s an easy way to provide fans and kids access to some of their favorite players. Plus, an opportunity to give back to their college’s community while creating a direct source of deal funding.

NextGen Camps has become a go-to service of sorts for athletes in the last 20 months, too. The group takes on the logistic work of camps, from securing venues and coaches along with the other business basic necessities.

The company has partnered with a number of high-profile names, including Ohio State quarterback C.J. StroudTexas running back Bijan RobinsonAlabama edge rusher Will Anderson, and North Carolina guard Caleb Love.

Florida State‘s Jordan Travis and Trey Benson are hosting a camp in June. NextGen has also put on women’s soccer camps with athletes at Ohio State and Kentucky.

On top of taking care of the details, the firm ensures enough staff are on site to handle the number of campers. On average, football camps draw more than 200 campers, while basketball brings in roughly 150 campers.

“I think it’s also something that’s sustainable in the NIL space,” NextGen founder Jacob Byrd previously told On3. “As things shift as far as rules and guidelines, we see youth sports camps as something that’ll stay around for a long time.”

Joe Alt, Audric Estime’s On3 NIL Valuation

The offensive tackle has a $486,000 On3 NIL Valuation. Although he has only 3,100 social media followers, as one of the top returning players in the sport, he has a high roster value. His valuation is 55th in college football.

Alt’s valuation sits at No. 80 in the On3 NIL 100, which is the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.

Estime also holds a high On3 NIL Valuation. As one of the most recognizable names in the Notre Dame offense, he is valued at $217,000 in the NIL space. He has more than 30,000 social media followers. The running back’s evaluation is 209th in college football.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. A proprietary algorithm, the On3 NIL Valuation calculates an athlete’s NIL value using dynamic data points targeting three primary categories: performance, influence and exposure.

About On3 NIL Valuation, Brand Value, Roster Value

While the algorithm includes deal data, it does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals athletes have completed to date, nor does it set an athlete’s NIL valuation for their entire career.

The On3 NIL Valuation is publicly available. Performance, Influence, and Exposure ratings along with the athlete’s personal Brand Value Index and Roster Value Index are available only to the athlete in the “Athlete Verified” private dashboard on the On3 Athlete Network.
