Ole Miss adds Aflac logo on field at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium

Ole Miss is becoming the latest school to add on-field logos. The school struck a partnership with Aflac, the athletics department announced Friday.
As part of the agreement, facilitated by Learfield, Aflac logos will appear on the field at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. They will make their debut this week when Ole Miss takes on Florida for a Saturday night kickoff on ESPN.

“We’re teaming up with @aflac!” Ole Miss Football wrote on X. “Couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to Rebel Nation!”
By adding Aflac logos at Vaught-Hemingway, Ole Miss is the latest power program to put ads on fields since the NCAA allowed them last year. Just this week, Florida announced a partnership with Geico to place the insurance company’s logos on the field at The Swamp.
Auburn also announced Yellawood as its on-field sponsor last month, and in the Big Ten, Iowa signed a deal with John Deere to place its logos at Kinnick Stadium. Now, Ole Miss joins the group as part of the deal with Aflac.

Ole Miss has been at the forefront of the NIL era, led by The Grove Collective. But when it came to adding corporate logos, athletics director Keith Carter told OM Spirit’s Ben Garrett the school would take a calculated approach.
“We don’t want to become like NASCAR,” Carter said over the summer. “I don’t mean that in a bad way towards NASCAR; they obviously have a great product. But we don’t want logos just kind of posted everywhere. We’ve got to find the right fit.
“But revenue is king these days. We’re certainly looking hard for a corporate sponsor to put their name on the field, on the basketball court, those type of things. We can do that across, really, all of our venues. That’s a big revenue opportunity as we move forward.”
Ole Miss checked in at No. 7 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings and appeared in the projected 12-team bracket heading into Week 12. This week’s matchup against Florida marks another opportunity for the Rebels to bolster their resume. Kickoff is set for Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
