Texas quarterback commit Dia Bell has landed another notable NIL deal. The Five Star Plus+ QB has signed with Nike, he announced via social media.

It’s the latest high-profile deal for Bell, who is one of the top quarterback recruits from the 2026 cycle. Repped by Wasserman, he previously landed a partnership with Leaf Trading Cards. Bell has a $1.1 million On3 NIL Valuation.

“Beyond blessed and thankful for the opportunity to partner with an incredible brand like @usnikefootball,” Bell wrote in a Monday post on X.

Bell’s senior season at Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage was cut short due to injury. However, speaking with On3 | Rivals’ Inside Texas, he provided an update on his rehab and how he’s progressing.

While he did not confirm what his injury was, Bell announced in September he underwent a procedure. That meant his high school career ended prematurely.

“As many of you already know, I will not be playing for the rest of the 2025 season due to an unexpected, minor procedure that needs to be addressed,” Bell said. “I am heartbroken and disappointed that I won’t be able to win another state championship with you all. I know that you guys will take care of business. Leon, welcome to the family! Do your thing, and lead these guys to another ring.

“As disappointing as the ending of this chapter is for me. I am even more excited about being 100% healthy and starting the next chapter in Austin! To my new family, my Longhorn family…see you all in January!”

More on Dia Bell

Dia Bell is the crown jewel of Texas’ highly rated 2026 recruiting class. He is the No. 5 overall player and No. 2-ranked quarterback from the cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. As a Five Star Plus+ recruit, he is one of the only prospects ranked by all three major recruiting media companies as a five-star.

In addition, Bell is one of the most notable names in high school football. His $1.1 million On3 NIL Valuation ranks No. 6 in the high school football NIL rankings.

Nike has been active in the NIL space this year. The company recently announced partnerships with Oregon stars Dante Moore and Dakorien Moore. They are part of a roster that includes big names such as Drew Allar, Garrett Nussmeier and Ryan Williams, among others who signed NIL deals with the Swoosh this season.
