
<p>There was some concern following the early exit yesterday from Titans rookie wide receiver <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/treylon-burks-116324/">Treylon Burks</a> via cart. It was early in the fourth quarter when he went down during Tennessee’s win against the Indianapolis Colts. The <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1576985121697460224?s=20&t=jleJHSWeF6_W8kIQquceiQ">update</a> still isn’t great, but it’s more optimistic than expectations were yesterday.</p>



<p>According to <a href="https://twitter.com/RapSheet">Ian Rapoport</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/TomPelissero">Tom Pelissero</a> of the <a href="https://twitter.com/NFLNetwork">NFL Network</a>, Burks has been diagnosed with turf toe. While he won’t need surgery, the injury will likely keep him out for some span of time.</p>

<p>Burks has caught 10 passes over the four games of his young career for 129 yards. He has been a solid fill-in thus far as part of the group effort in the wide receiver corps to replace <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/aj-brown-55/">AJ Brown</a>. It will now take an ever better group effort from <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/robert-woods-101392/">Robert Woods</a>, <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/nick-westbrook-93112/">Nick Westbrook-Ikhine</a>, and the tight end group to help out <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/ryan-tannehill-103793/">Ryan Tannehill</a> in the pass game in Burks’ absence.</p>

<p>The Tennessee Titans are holding onto their lead over the Indianapolis Colts but it looks like they’ll be battling out the rest of the fourth quarter without rookie first-round wide receiver Treylon Burks. The first-year player out of <strong><a href="https://www.on3.com/college/arkansas-razorbacks/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Arkansas</a></strong> went down with what appeared to be a significant injury to his left lower leg.</p>



<p>According to team reporter Jim Wyatt, Burks is <a href="https://twitter.com/jwyattsports/status/1576657686778765314?s=20&t=45Ok1xMMx_cFXC7nktpRGg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">out for the remainder</a> of the game with a foot injury.</p>



<p>Burks went down and hobbled off the field before removing his cleat and sock. The Titans medical staff <a href="https://twitter.com/NFLonFOX/status/1576655339201744899?s=20&t=45Ok1xMMx_cFXC7nktpRGg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">carted him off the field</a> with 11:47 remaining in the game. Tennessee held a one-touchdown lead over the Colts.</p>

<p>Prior to being carted off, Burks had three targets for two catches and 14 yards. Coming into the game, the former Razorbacks star had eight catches for 115 yards.</p>
