It's a lofty comparison, but Lincoln Kienholz's play style, athletic background and absolutely gaudy production against less-than-stellar high school competition reminds us of Joe Burrow. Both were highly accomplished high school athletes (all-state in multiple sports) with the best production among quarterbacks in their respective cycles. Like Burrow, Kienholz shows feel for the game, downfield accuracy, pocket presence and overall competitiveness. Both also played some defensive back for their high school teams. Burrow looked to be a bit taller and heavier than Kienholz at the same stage. Kienholz is a twitcher athlete with above-the-rim bounce on the hardwood.
