4-star OT Kamari Blair down to three SEC programs with commitment date set

Clarksville (Tenn.) Kirkwood four-star offensive tackle Kamari Blair is ready to reveal his college decision.
On Sunday, the 6-foot-6, 280-pounder announced via social media that he will commit this Wednesday, July 16. Blair will choose between three SEC programs: Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Blair is the No. 284 overall prospect and No. 24 OT in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 8 player in Tennessee.
All three programs received official visits from Blair last month. Back in May, he tabbed a top six that also included Florida State, Kentucky and Wisconsin. Now, the Rebels and Gamecocks will look to pull the trench monster out of Tennessee and away from the Volunteers.
Ole Miss and Tennessee are currently jockeying for position in the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine. The in-state Vols got his final OV on the weekend of June 20. Earlier this week, Rivals VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong noted that things were heating up between Blair and Josh Heupel’s program.

“In-state four-star offensive tackle Kamari Blair has shot up the board,” Wiltfong wrote on July 9. “South Carolina and Ole Miss have done a good job there but the Vols’ pitch to stay in-state has been enticing.”
Both Ole Miss and South Carolina upped their standing with Blair after officials to Oxford and Columbia. Relationships have helped the trio of SEC programs stand out down the stretch.
“They’re up there right now. I’m a big relationship guy so the relationship I have with coach Garrison and James and then the offense that Lane Kiffin runs (stands out),” Blair told Rivals’ Billy Embody after his Ole Miss OV. “We don’t talk every single day, but when we do talk, it’s very personal, not just like generic talk.”
Blair is one of the three highest-ranked uncommitted prospects in the state of Tennessee this cycle. He’s the No. 2 tackle in the Volunteer State, behind just Baylor School four-star and current Vols commit Gabriel Osenda.
