4-star SF Elijah Williams visiting Texas

Elijah Williams, a four-star small forward in the 2026 class, will be visiting Texas on Saturday to watch the Longhorns take on No. 13-ranked Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-6 junior out of TMI Episcopal (San Antonio, TX) holds an offer from Rodney Terry and the University of Texas.

In addition to the schools he’s hearing from, Williams also holds offers from programs like Georgetown, Arizona State, Michigan, Cal, Rutgers, Missouri, Oregon, BYU, USC, Michigan State, LSU, Pitt, Oklahoma State, among others.

Elijah is the son of former NBA head coach Monty Williams. The NBA Coach of the Year in 2022, Monty was the head coach for the Phoenix Suns from 2019-2023 and the Detroit Pistons from 2023-2024. He now serves as the head coach for TMI Episcopal in San Antonio, where he coaches Elijah.
Elijah Williams was noted as one of the standouts at the USA Basketball U17 Training Camp over the summer, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw:
Elijah Williams has been able to pick his spots this week and show some flashes. He has nice size with solid length. He was not asked to do much self-creation, but he knocked down some shots which was able to spread the floor, and he moved the ball well.
