3 Honored & Oregon State WBB Picked To Win WCC Conference
The Oregon State women’s basketball team, coming off a WCC Tournament Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance last season, has been picked to win the WCC conference in 2025-26 and saw three players earn All-WCC Preseason Team honors.
Kennedie Shuler, Catarina Ferreira, and Tiara Bolden earned three of the 10 total preseason all-league honors, the most of any team.
Ferreira will, unfortunately, miss the 2025-26 season with an injury, but was last season’s WCC Tournament MVP. She tallied 15 or more points in each WCC Tournament game while averaging 9.9 points and 7.3 rebounds last season.
Schuler, the Gresham (OR) native, is back after a season where she averaged 7.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
Fellow Oregon native Tiara Bolden (Eugene) scored in double figures 10 times in 2024-25. She averaged 8.1 points and 1.5 assists per game while pulling down 3.9 rebounds and shooting 31.5 percent from three.
The Beavers earned nine of the 12 first-place votes, with Gonzaga earning the remaining three at No. 2.
Oregon State will open the year with an exhibition against Alaska Fairbanks on Nov. 2nd, before the Beavers have their official opener against Corban on Nov. 7th.
