The fly-over features 2 F/A-18E Super Hornets from the “Blue Blasters” of VFA-34, based out of NAS Oceania, Virginia. Piloting the lead aircraft is Cmdr. Jason Pallotta, USNA Class of 2007. The wing aircraft is piloted by Lt. Mitchell “Zohan” Pendleton, Class of ‘19.

Celebrating over 80 years of distinguished service, the “Blue Blasters” of VFA-34 have been a symbol of courage, precision, and dedication. “Victory in Combat! Have Gun… Will Travel!”

Team captains meet for the coin toss. Navy’s captains for today’s game are (L-R) Landon Robinson #96, Blake Horvath #11, Luke Pirris #35, and Brandon Chatman #24. Navy’s AD, Michael Kelly, conducts the coin toss. Navy wins the toss and defers. USF will receive and Navy will defend the North end zone.
