Ross Hodge post game summary post Clemson

West Virginia head coach Ross Hodge addressed the radio broadcast following the match up with Clemson in the Charleston Classic and WVSports.com provides a summary of what was said.
–Hodge said it’s the tale of two halves they can’t win many games when they give up 45 points in a half. They found something that worked and they didn’t adjust to it. They got it where they wanted and when they did they finished. They made wide open threes and close baskets and West Virginia didn’t. He has to do a better job managing the game and finding quicker solutions.
–A lot of times basketball comes down to who makes it with the game on the line and they did. Now they have to bounce back in a quick turnaround.
–They knew they were going to take it to the paint and they didn’t answer it in the first four minutes but did in the middle. Difference in the game was they were able to get the ball where they wanted it and the Mountaineers didn’t execute.
—Chance Moore was a downhill presence and helped on both sides. Amir Jenkins made good decisions, got in the paint and defensively was good.
–Now you get to find out what you’re about and see if you can bounce back.
