Auburn picks up commitment from Rutgers transfer Ella Harrison
Auburn was been one of the teams to make quick work in the portal. The Tigers already added Lipscomb infielder Alyssa Hastings last week, but now have added Rutgers pitcher Ella Harrison. Harrison, a righty with strong tools, carried a heavy workload as a freshman for the Scarlet Knights.
She threw 177 innings this past season with a 2.61 ERA. Harrison has good strikeout stuff, making her an appealing option for Auburn pitching coach Ryker Chason. She had double-digit strikeouts seven times in 2025.
