The Alabama football recruiting Insider Report takes an in-depth look at the the biggest storylines to watch in November. It was a very busy month in October on the recruiting front for the Crimson Tide. It didn’t produce many commitments (only 1- 2025 wide receiver Ryan Williams).

There was, however, an abundance of top recruits who visited Tuscaloosa for Alabama’s home games against Texas A&M and Mississippi State. A few surprises decisions took place including Cormani McClain, five-star cornerback from Lakeland High School in Florida, announcing for Miami last week.

New offers were presented to a few seniors who have been impressive during their final high school season including Arion Carter, four-star linebacker from Smyrna High School in Tennessee and Tyler Scott, three-star cornerback from Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, Georgia.

The Tide has also see more attended from a few notable recruits, who previously held offers, including Jordan Hall, Top-100 defensive tackle from Westside High School in Jacksonville, Florida, and Damari Brown, four-star cornerback from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida.

While last month delivered plenty of content to divulge it should really start to pick up even more in November with several decisions expected, official visits and top targets who will see their senior season come to an end.

The key decisions to watch this month will begin with Julian Sayin, 2024 Top-100 quarterback from Carlsbad High School in California, announcing his decision on Wednesday (Decision Preview). Sayin’s finalists include Alabama, Georgia and LSU. The ON3 Sports RPM currently favors Alabama with a 74.2-percent chance of Sayin committing to the Crimson Tide.

Sayin isn’t the only target announcing a decision this month. Kavion Henderson, 2024 four-star defensive end from Leeds High School in Alabama, will reveal his decision on Sunday. Daevin Hobbs, five-star defensive lineman from Robinson High School in Concord, North Carolina, will announce on November 25.

Alabama hosting top targets later this month

The Crimson Tide will face two significant road tests this month at LSU and at Ole Miss these next two weeks ago. Alabama will then host Austin Peay before the Iron Bowl. The matchup against the Tigers has lost most of its luster, but it’s still the biggest rivalry in the the country with plenty of recruits expected in attedance.

Alabama will host at least four targets on official visits including Desmond Ricks, five-star cornerback from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, Jaren Hamilton, four-star wide receiver from Bucholtz High School in Gainesville, Florida along with Arion Carter and Tyler Scott (both mentioned above). Rueben Bain, four-star defensive lineman from Central High School in Miami, will also return for an unofficial visit.

It’s also a big month to watch commitments and targets who will visit elsewhere. An abundance of talent will visit Georgia this weekend including Alabama commitment Justice Haynes, the No. 2 running back in the country from Buford High School in Georgia. James Smith, five-star defensive lineman and Qua Russaw, five-star linebacker from Carver High School in Montgomery as well as Daevin Hobbs will travel to Athens this weekend.
