Florida Gators win men's NCAA Track and Field title

Mike Holloway has done it again. And so has the Florida men’s track and field team.

Friday night in Austin, Texas, the Gators won the men’s championship for the second straight year and sixth time under Holloway.

The Gators finished with 57 points, barely edging out Arkansas. You can find the full results HERE.

Florida overtook the Razorbacks on the final event — the 4×400.

Florida also won titles in 2022, 2017, 2016, 2013 and 2012.

Holloway, in his 20th season as men’s head coach and 15th as Florida women’s coach, now owns 13 total NCAA outdoor and indoor championships with the Gators.

The NCAA women’s track and field meet concludes Saturday. The Gators currently are in third place.

These were some of Florida’s top finishers Friday.

-1st: 4×400 (2:57.74 )

-1st: 400 meters — Emmanuel Bamidele (44.24)

-2nd: 400 meters –Ryan Willie (44.25)

-2nd: 4×100 relay (38.26)

-4th: Triple jump — Sean Dixon-Bodie (54-6 feet)

-4th: 200 meters — Robert Gregory (19.89)

-5th: 100 — PJ Austin (9.97)
