Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 56, co-hosts Zach Abolverdi and Nick de la Torre recap the Florida baseball season and preview SEC Media Days.
The show begins with a review of the Gators’ memorable year after a runner-up finish in the Men’s College World Series. They started 3-0 in Omaha before dropping their first game against LSU, forcing a rubber match and losing in the final.
Nick, who made the trip to Nebraska, shares his thoughts on Florida’s run in Omaha and his favorite games to cover. He also gives his takeaways on UF’s overall season and where the 2023 squad ranks among teams that didn’t win a national title.
