Last weekend, the Florida Gators picked up commitment No. 4 in the 2025 class when 4-star offensive lineman Peyton Joseph of Georgia pledged to the program. Here’s a quick look at the class, which is No. 10 in the rankings, as of today:

***

*Josiah Abdullah, WR, Atlanta (Ga.) Woodward Academy
-HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 5-foot-10, 175 pounds
-ON3 INDUSTRY RATING: 88.26
-ON3 INDUSTRY RANKING: No. 63 WR, No. 44 in Georgia, No. 417 nationally
-COMMITMENT DATE: 1/14/24
-PICKED UF OVER: Abdullah has offers from two dozen Power 5 programs.
-SCOUTING REPORT: Abdullah is both fast and powerful. His 100-meter times could soon be under 11 seconds and he plays fast in pads, too. Additionally, he is tough to tackle because he runs with authority. Abdullah is a stronger and more powerful runner than his frame would suggest.
-411: Abdullah continues to hear from Georgia Tech, Texas, Texas A&M and Alabama, per his coach. It’s possible he might visit other schools, but that is to be determined and he shows no signs of wavering. Abdullah is close with Gators freshman linebacker Myles Graham.
-OFFICIAL VISIT PLANS: Florida (June 14)

The Florida Gators’ class includes 2 of the top in-state prospects

*Waltez Clark, RB, Tampa (Fla.) Plant
-HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-foot-1/2, 190 pounds
-ON3 INDUSTRY RATING: 90.98
-ON3 INDUSTRY RANKING: No. 17 RB, No. 30 in Florida, No. 210 nationally
-COMMITMENT DATE: 9/16/23
-PICKED UF OVER: FSU, Miami, Tennessee, others.
-SCOUTING REPORT: Clark is both fast and smooth. Few running backs in this class accelerate through the hole like him. He has the ability to get skinny in space and has a quick burst out of his cuts, which make him deadly in the open field. Clark’s versatility is another asset and he’s also excellent in the passing game.
-411: Although Clark says he’s solid to the Gators, this feels like one where Florida will have to keep the foot on the gas as other schools, including Georgia, have entered the mix. The biggest thing working for the Gators is this: Clark’s relationship with Florida running backs coach Jabbar Juluke.
-OFFICIAL VISIT PLANS: TBD, but he’ll probably OV to Florida in June.

*Jalen Wiggins, Edge/DL, Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards
-HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-foot-5, 235 pounds
-ON3 INDUSTRY RATING: 93.07
-ON3 INDUSTRY RANKING: No. 8 DL, No. 11 in Florida, No. 83 nationally
-COMMITMENT DATE: 1/15/24
-PICKED UF OVER: FSU, Georgia, LSU, Miami
-SCOUTING REPORT: The Gators have recruited Wiggins to play edge, but given his current size it’s possible he could grow into an end or even inside player. At the recent Under Armour Camp in Orlando, he showed good quickness coming off the ball, nice footwork, active hands and an excellent motor. His reach is a problem for offensive linemen.
-411: GeorgiaFlorida StateLSUMiami and Stanford all continue to heavily recruit Wiggins. In recent interviews with On3, he said he likely will visit other schools and is keeping an open mind. But at the same time, he has maintained he is locked in with the Gators.
-OFFICIAL VISIT PLANS: TBD

UF also has 2 verbals from the Peach State

Peyton Joseph, IOL, Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston
-HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6-foot-4, 300 pounds
-ON3 INDUSTRY RATING: 92.26
-ON3 INDUSTRY RANKING: No. 5 IOL, No. 17 in Georgia, No. 123 nationally
-COMMITMENT DATE:  2/18/24
-PICKED UF OVER: FSU, Georgia Tech
-SCOUTING REPORT: Stout powerbase and thick legs, making him ideal to play guard or center in the SEC. He’s strong, powerful and has a big punch. But he also possesses fairly soft and quick feet, so he’s pretty agile. Joseph is a standout in the shot put, too, which also speaks to his upper-body (and really, overall) strength.
-411: While he said it’s possible he could visit other schools, Joseph noted last week, “I’m really locked in with the Gators right now.”
-OFFICIAL VISIT PLANS: TBD
