It has been a busy week for Kansas State basketball in the transfer portal. Former Arkansas forward Baye Fall has committed to K-State. He is the second commitment of the weekend, joining Brendan Hausen who committed on Friday.

The announcement for Fall comes on the heels of an official visit to Kansas State over the weekend. His official visit followed the visits of former Rutgers big Clifford Omoruyi and Arkansas guard Khalif Battle. Will more good news be on the way for the Wildcats? Stay tuned.

Fall entered the transfer portal on April 4. It is not known what other schools were involved with the former McDonalds All-American in the transfer portal.

A native of Senegal, Fall played just one season for the Razorbacks. He played in nine games averaging 0.8 points per game, 1.1 rebound and 0.7 blocks in just five minutes per game. Fall’s season high in points came against Alcorn State scoring four points and pulling down four rebounds in nine minutes of action.

Fall was extremely highly thought of as a high school prospect. According to the On3 Industry Ranking (a combination of all four recruiting services), the Senegal native was the No. 31 prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. Kansas State was also extremely active in his high school recruitment. K-State made his top seven along with Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Texas. He took official visits in high school to Arkansas, Auburn, Rutgers and Seton Hall before signing with the Razorbacks.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking Fall is ranked the No. 211 prospect in the transfer portal. He is commitment No. 4 in the transfer portal for Kansas State. Fall will join former Michigan guard Dug McDaniel, former Illinois-Chicago guard CJ Jones and former Villanova guard Hausen. Fall has three years of eligibility remaining.
