Kansas State Looks To Continue Transfer Portal Splash With High Level Targets Available

Our Kansas State recruiting scoop moving forward will now be via a message board post at KSO and sponsored by our friends at MyPerfectFranchise.net. We thank them for their partnership and supporting the Wildcats and our site at On3.

We discuss where K-State stands with some of their top targets in the transfer portal almost exclusively in this version. Who do the Wildcats want? Who is visiting and when? Who has great interest in Kansas State?

K-State has landed transfer guard Dug McDaniel. But more spots are unfilled. While Tarris Reed has also visited the campus, more are expected in Manhattan this weekend. Two prospects will be visiting Kansas State, a guard and a forward.

The dead period is over. But that doesn’t mean Kansas State was asleep at the wheel. Jerome Tang and his staff have plenty of other targets that they are setting the table with and hope to have visit in the near future. We handicap their chances with others.

Also, is Mark Mitchell a real target for the Wildcats? Where does the three-point shooting come from? We know that the No. 2 transfer in the country will also make a trip to check out K-State next weekend. Does that mean they can land Oumar Ballo?

We also provide a hint of what is inside below.

  • Who will be on the K-State campus and visiting this weekend?
  • Which targets are high on the Kansas State board?
  • What are the chances the Wildcats add a commit this weekend?
