#1: Malachi Coleman, ATH, 6-foot-6/190-pounds, Lincoln East

On3 Take: Coleman is being projected on both offense and defense to play anywhere from defensive back to linebacker to defensive end or could also play wide receiver.

Notable Offers: Nebraska, Michigan, Iowa, Georgia, USC, Penn State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and others

Official Visits: Nebraska (6/3) and Michigan (6/24)

#2: Maverick Noonan, EDGE, 6-foot-4/230-pounds, Elkhorn South

On3 Take: Noonan is being looked at as an EDGE and moves between odd and even fronts for Elkhorn South as well as playing in two and three-point stances.

Notable Offers: Nebraska, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Arizona State, Stanford, Minnesota and others

Official Visits: Nebraska (6/3), Minnesota (6/10), Stanford (6/17), Iowa (6/24)

#3: Gunnar Gottula, OT, 6-foot-6/290-pounds, Lincoln Southeast

On3 Take: If there is a player whose film really improves from his sophomore to junior year it’s Gottula’s. He’s gotten stronger, he’s playing with a better pad level and he’s become a better overall finisher.

Notable Offers: Nebraska (Committed), Iowa, Iowa State and Kansas State

Official Visits: Nebraska (6/3)

#4: Benjamin Brahmer, TE, 6-foot-6/215-pounds, Pierce

On3 Take: Brahmer has a great frame and athleticism, but he’s really technical as a route runner. He creates a lot of space because of his route running ability.

Notable Offers: Nebraska (Committed), Iowa State and Georgia Tech

Official Visits: Nebraska (6/3)

#5: Kade McIntyre, ATH, 6-foot-4/200-pounds, Fremont Archbishop Bergan

On3 Take: The fastest riser on this list. McIntyre now finds himself in the top five after picking up offers from Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Tennessee and Oklahoma. McIntyre is a ball of muscle and could play offense or defense at the next level.

Notable Offers: Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas State, Wyoming and others

Official Visits: Iowa (6/10), Minnesota (6/17) and Kansas State (6/24)

#6: Sam Sledge, OG/OC, 6-foot-4/270-pounds, Omaha Creighton Prep

On3 Take: Sledge is a sound offensive line prospect that understands leverage and pad level incredibly well. Sledge is a Husker legacy, son of a coach, and will be a four-year starter for Prep this fall.

Notable Offers: Nebraska (Committed), Miami (Ohio) and Kansas

Official Visits: Nebraska (6/3)

#7: Zane Flores, QB, 6-foot-4/195-pounds, Gretna

On3 Take: Flores was at a Nebraska Friday Night Lights camp last summer, but things just never got off on the right foot it seemed going back to previous NU staff members. Flores can really sling it and is a fabulous leader.

Notable Offers: Oklahoma State (Committed), Washington, Pitt, Oregon State, Kansas State, Kansas, Missouri and others

Official Visits: Oklahoma State (4/15)

#8: Brock Knutson, OT, 6-foot-7, 282-pounds, Scottsbluff

On3 Take: The Huskers offered Knutson after the Red-White spring game and immediately found themselves in contention to be in the top three for Knutson. Knutson moved from Mitchell to Scottsbluff recently and appears to be the first D1 player from the high school since Garrett Nelson and Sabastian Harsh.

Notable Offers: Nebraska, Kansas State, Iowa State, Arizona State, Colorado State, Kansas, Wyoming and others

Official Visits: Nebraska (6/3) and Iowa State (6/17)

#9: Beni Ngoyi, WR/ATH, 6-foot-4/188-pounds, Lincoln High

On3 Take: Ngoyi has made some significant gains this off-season working out in winter/indoor track into the outdoor season. He tests as well as any athlete in the state (4.38/40-yard dash, 42-inches/vertical jump, 10-foot-10/broad jump and 6-foot-10 wingspan).

Notable Offers: Nebraska, Washington, Minnesota, Iowa State, Pitt, Kansas State, Kansas and Wyoming among others

Official Visits: Washington (6/3) and Iowa State (6/10)

#10: Rocco Marcelino, DE, 6-foot-5/250-pounds, Omaha Creighton Prep

On3 Take: Marcelino has a tremendous get-off and does an outstanding job of keeping that outside arm free. He is relentless in his pursuit and shows that he can break down, get under control and keep the play in front of him so he doesn’t miss a lot of tackles.

Notable Offers: Cornell, Dartmouth, Air Force and Brown

Official Visits: None scheduled
