Four of Notre Dame’s highest-ranked 2023 commitments picked up a significant preseason honor before their senior years. Four-star wide receiver Jaden Greathouse, four-star safety Peyton Bowen, five-star defensive end Keon Keeley and four-star linebacker Drayk Bowen were named MaxPreps preseason All-Americans Tuesday.

Greathouse and Peyton Bowen were first-team selections, while Keeley and Drayk Bowen were second-teamers. All are ranked in the top 150 of the On3 Consensus and among the Irish’s nine highest-rated commits.

Greathouse has helped Austin (Texas) Westlake win three straight Class 6A DII state titles, catching 182 passes for 3,134 yards and 43 touchdowns in that span. He’s the No. 127 overall player in the class, per the On3 Consensus. Peyton Bowen, the No. 45 overall prospect, helped Denton (Texas) Guyer reach the state title game (which it lost to Westlake) with a 67-tackle, seven-interception junior season. He’s a five-star prospect in the On300 rankings.

Keeley, the No. 12 recruit in the cycle, is Notre Dame’s highest-ranked commit. The Tampa Berkeley Prep product had 34 tackles for loss and 16.5 sacks last year. Drayk Bowen led Merrillville (Ind.) Andrean to a state title last fall. He had 105 tackles, 12 TFLs, three sacks and three interceptions in 2021. He’s the No. 81 player in the On3 Consensus.
