COLUMBUS — Ohio State landed a critical pledge to its 2023 class on Saturday when Brock Glenn made his decision and committed to the Buckeyes.

The four-star Lausanne Collegiate School (Memphis, Tennesse) quarterback prospect chose Ohio State over Florida State, Auburn, TCU, LSU and others.

Glenn is the No. 20 rated quarterback prospect and No. 9 overall prospect in Tennessee according to the On3 Consensus Rankings. Before the quarterback made his decision to Ohio State, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine had Florida State as the favorite to land Glenn.

Lettermen Row staffers Spencer Holbrook and Matt Parker have a special edition of the Lettermen Lounge where the duo talked exclusively about Glenn’s decision to commit to the Buckeyes.

The show starts with how important Glenn and his pledge are to Ohio State, and how it can create momentum after a difficult end of July. Brock Glenn is the long-awaited answer to coach Ryan Day and quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis quarterback questions for the 2023 class.

In recent weeks there was credible information that four-star Dripping Springs (Texas) prospect Austin Novosad was leaning toward the Buckeyes, but Glenn and Ohio State quickly became tied to one another.

Glenn is commit No. 20 for Ohio State and the classes bonafide quarterback commit. He’s surrounded by plenty of offensive talent including a wide receiver board that contains three five-stars.

The Lettermen Row staffers talk about Glenn’s skill set and how the quarterback room will shake out once he arrives on campus, and in the future, as 2024 quarterback commit Dylan Raiola is in waiting.
