Lettermen Row is tracking the Buckeyes recruiting news throughout the signing period as 2024 commitments officially join the Ohio State football program. COLUMBUS — Ohio State continues to stockpile its wide receiver and on national signing day, it added another five-star.

Mylan Graham has signed his letter of intent will be an Ohio State Buckeye.

What does the addition of Graham mean for the Buckeyes moving forward? Lettermen Row breaks it down.

Who is Mylan Graham?

Mylan Graham is a five-star wide receiver prospect from New Haven, Indiana. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver committed to Ohio State on April 4 after multiple visits to campus.

Graham went from under-the-radar prospect and then camped in Columbus going into his junior season. He wowed the competition and Ohio State wide receiver coach Brian Hartline, earning his offer from the Buckeyes.

After a couple of game day visits and then a visit to spring practice, Graham chose the Buckeyes. Notre Dame, Michigan and Purdue were schools in the mix, but Ohio State was always the frontrunner.
“I just recently took a visit to Ohio State and I saw everything I needed to see,” Graham told Lettermen Row shortly after he announced his commitment. “Everybody is usually concerned about the receiver depth, but when I got there and I saw coach [Brian] Hartline coach, I just felt like I could really go there and play.”

How did Graham end up at Ohio State?

As mentioned above, it was always about relationships for Graham. And his with Hartline at Ohio State was second to none on the recruiting trail.

“It’s been real strong, I mean, when I first went to Ohio State for a camp this past summer, me and coach Hartline just had a real good, strong relationship before I camped, it started back in April and May of last year when he started recruiting me.

“I got to campus and I did my thing at the camp, and he offered me. I saw that he saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. As time flew by I realized he saw potential in me and I trust him.”

Graham will not be an early enrollee, but his arrival on campus in the summer will certainly be a welcomed one.
