COLUMBUS — Ohio State needed some home cooking.

The Buckeyes spent the last two weeks on the road and hadn’t looked their best, but a return to Ohio Stadium and lining up against an inferior Indiana team allowed for a release of frustrations.

No. 2 Ohio State defeated Indiana 56-14 in front of its usual 100 thousand fans in a chilly atmosphere. While the weather might have been cold, the Buckeyes certainly were not.

The offense, which has been suspect in the last few weeks, bullied the Hoosiers for 663 total yards and eight touchdowns.

Ohio State and its vaunted defense held Indiana to just 269 yards in an impressive — and needed — route.

And of course like with all home games, the routine Buckeye beatdown was watched by dozens of recruits and prospects from around the country and at home.
