The 6-foot-5, 197-pounder is considered a shooting guard. He started 29 games for the Canes last season, only missing 2 due to an ankle injury.

Last season Poplar averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He scored in double figures in 21 of his 29 starts last season.
Poplar originally signed with Miami as a part of its 2021 class. The Philadelphia native was the No. 108 ranked player in the One Industry Rankings in that cycle.
Kentucky appears to be the biggest threat to land the coveted transfer currently.
