Oregon Offers JUCO Cornerback Asaad Chapman

The early signing period is next month and the Oregon Ducks are still looking to add a few key pieces. On Tuesday, Oregon extended an offer to 2026 San Bernardino Valley College cornerback Asaad Chapman.
Chapman, who’s listed at 6’4″, 190 pounds on the Wolverines 2025 roster, is the No. 24 prospect nationally, the No. 2 cornerback and the No. 6 prospect in California according to the On3 JUCO Industry Ranking.
The lengthy cornerback has also received offers from Miami, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi State, and North Carolina this year. He’s taken one official visit to San Antonio so far and has an official visit scheduled to Mississippi at the end of November.
Through eight games in 2025 Chapman has recorded 40 total tackles, four pass breakups and three interceptions. He’s also recovered a pair of fumbles.
Oregon currently has one cornerback committed in the 2026 class in 4-star Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian cornerback Davon Benjamin. However, he’s not exactly viewed as a “true” cornerback, and can line up all over the secondary.
