While Oregon has a fairly small group of recruits left on its board, there remains some very key targets.

One of those key targets is Carrollwood Day (Fla.) EDGE Solomon Williams. The 6-foot-2, 255-pounder is the No. 262 ranked recruit in the On3 Industry Rankings. With On3 he is ranked 110 spots better at No. 252.

Williams is working from a top seven that includes: Oregon, Alabama, UCF, Texas, Ohio State, Clemson and Texas A&M. The four-star recruit has previously taken a pair of unofficial visits to Oregon but has locked in his official visit.

Per John Garcia Jr. of Rivals, Williams will visit Oregon on September 23. The Ducks will open up Pac-12 play with Deion Sanders and Colorado that weekend.

We spoke with Williams following his unofficial visit to Oregon in early July. He certainly gave the trip (s) to Oregon some high marks.

“I like knowing I’m a priority at Oregon,” Williams told ScoopDuck. “I know coach Lanning and coach Lupoi can use me and develop me at Oregon. It really caught my eye hearing about how much experience they have coaching players at my position.”

Alabama currently leads the On3 RPM at 35% chance to land Williams. Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide staff hosted Williams for his official visit in June.

Currently the four-star does not have a commitment date set.
