Israel Abrams sets visits, including Purdue:

The prized recruit in the 2027 class for the Boilermakers, and several other programs, has laid out his spring and official visit plans. 2027 four-star Montini Catholic (Ill.) quarterback Israel Abrams is slated to visit Purdue, Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida State in the spring, and follow up with official visits in May and June.

Purdue will be the first to host the top uncommitted signal caller in the 2027 recruiting class, as he heads back to West Lafayette on March 7 for an unofficial visit, followed by an official trip slated for the weekend of May 22.

Auburn still holds pole position for Abrams, but Purdue is lurking as another top contender for the Illinois signal caller. Kentucky and Florida State have entered the mix for recently, while Tennessee has been pushing for some time now.

West Lafayette offers an intriguing landing spot for Abrams, who could come in and vault himself up the depth chart. The type of talent he is, Purdue rarely gets. It would be a home run commitment for Barry Odom and company, but one they are still in the mix to get at the moment.

Spring visits on tap:
