Everyone knew where Mohamed Bamba wanted to go when he arrived in Austin — the NBA. Now, he’s made it there.

The former Texas forward/center was selected 6th overall by Orlando in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Bamba joins former Texas guard DJ Augustin in Orlando. He is the 17th Longhorn to be selected in the first round of the NBA Draft, and the first since Jarrett Allen was selected by Brooklyn in 2017.
