Manning gets a visit in New Orleans from Sark and staff
Texas coach Steve Sarkisian made the trip to NOLA this week for an in home visit with 5-star quarterback Arch Manning and his family. Manning posted a pic of the visit on Instagram and it produced plenty of notice, Hamilton said.
“Arch doesn’t take to Instagram or Twitter very much at all, probably the least of any top football prospect I’ve ever seen, so when he does, it’s really big news,” Hamilton explained. “We expect Arch Manning to be in Austin Saturday and Sunday for the big visit weekend. I’ve been told that twice in the past 48 hours…anytime Arch posts a photo doing a ‘Hook’em,’especially with Texas coaches. That’s pretty big news.”
Hamilton also said Texas is in the running to sign Ka’Morreun Pimpton, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound tight end from Fort Worth North Crowley who has committed to Vanderbilt.

Burton had an extensive conversation with Andrea Elliott, wife of Texas coach Jerritt Elliott, as the Longhorns prepare to face San Diego in the national semifinals on Thursday in Omaha.
Andrea said the team is excited to be team is excited to be in this position and have worked hard to make it happen.
“The team has gone the extra mile for each other in situations in which you don’t have to, but they have,” Elliott said. “They have done a really good job, both the coaching staff and captains, to blend and put the culture first that they want to have with inside their locker room and outside. They are super excited about the matchup with San Diego. It’s something that they’ve been looking forward to, you know, all year to be here.”
