The state of Texas is talented once again. Texas High School Football products accounted for three of the top 10 and 40 of the total number of prospects included in the 2027 Rivals 300.

Texas’ lone pledge in the 2027 class, Tustin (Calif.) EDGE Taven Epps, was the No. 218 overall prospect, the No. 26 EDGE, and the No. 22 player in California according to Rivals. In the Rivals Industry Ranking, Epps was the No. 104 overall prospect, the No. 15 EDGE, and the No. 11 player in California.
