Only four members of Texas No. 1 ranked 2025 signing class played in the season-opener against Ohio State. That total tripled on Saturday during the Longhorns’ 38-7 win over San Jose State. A number of players made their second appearance in burnt orange while others made their debuts.

Here’s how they fared.

Jaime Ffrench, WR

Ffrench made his Longhorns debut with four offensive snaps against San Jose State. He did not record any stats. He was the No. 59 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Kaliq Lockett, WR

Lockett played nine offensive snaps against San Jose State, hauling in two receptions for 22 yards with one of them for a first down. He was the No. 20 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking.

KJ Lacey, QB

Lacey did not play against San Jose State. He was the No. 237 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Jonah Williams, DB

Williams did not play against San Jose State. He was the No. 9 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Kade Phillips, DB

Phillips had three defensive snaps against San Jose State and logged a pass breakup late in the contest. He was the No. 29 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking.

Michael Terry III, WR

Elijah Barnes, LB

Barnes saw three defensive snaps and one special teams snap against San Jose State and did not record any stats. He was the No. 60 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking.

James Simon, RB

Simon did not play against San Jose State. He was the No. 147 overall prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking.
