The Texas Longhorns moved up five spots to No. 5 in the latest release of the AP Top 25 Poll.

Texas (19-4, 8-2) sits atop the Big 12 race ahead of tonight’s Big Monday showdown in Lawrence against No. 9 Kansas.
The Longhorns are 12-3 under interim head coach Rodney Terry, including 7-3 in the month of January. Texas is 4-1 on the road in Big 12 play under Terry.
