Tyler Scott locks in Texas Longhorns official visit

On3 Consensus 3-star cornerback Tyler Scott has locked in an official visit date to Texas, again.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound senior riser is scheduled to make an official visit to Texas December 17 he reports to Inside Texas. He was originally scheduled to visit Texas November 12, but Pebblebrook High had a playoff game Saturday.
The Longhorns have come on late in Scott’s recruitment behind the efforts of assistant coach and area recruiter Tashard Choice. Choice and Texas defensive backs coach Terry Joseph are both working the recruitment of Scott.
Tennessee is considered the leader for Scott headed into the official visit process with his cousin and Volunteers wide receiver Kaleb Webb being a key reason. Scott is scheduled to officially visit Alabama November 25 for the Iron Bowl, and USC December 9. He made an official visit to Auburn October 29.

Scott was on campus in Knoxville October 15 when the Vols beat the Crimson Tide. He has also been to Tuscaloosa for a game this season.
The Peach State prospect released a top 7 November 9 with Louisville and Michigan rounding out those in consideration.
Texas offered Scott October 30 with Choice doing making the offer a day after stopping by Pebblebrook High.
