Castellanos grounds out to SS for the 3rd out in the bottom of the 9th (with Harper on 1st).

Astros win 3-2, and lead the series 3-2.

frustrating, frustrating, frustrating
I mean, yeah on the one hand they weren't even supposed to be here...but now that they are, that Schwarber hot shot in the 8th bouncing directly into Mancini's glove is just inexplicable; like what else do you have to do; he beat the pitcher Pressley in that at-bat and would have tied the game or taken the lead, but alas nothing to show for it? 🤷‍♂️ As Tom said, holding Segura on kept the 1b closer to the line, but still...

It isn't even a matter of "well if they played better earlier" or "there were a lot of plays that contributed to the loss"...if that ball goes through on that one play the Phillies are up 3-2 instead of down 3-2...hence the atypical degree of frustration. ;)

Well let’s hope they can tee off on Valdez and Wheeler pitches out of his mind. This team does not quit and the Astros had some good defense last night in the late innings. The catch in centerfield was a back breaker.

Ryan after the Phillies take a 2-1 lead but then lose back-to-back games at home in the World Series.

Sosa hits a ball 365 ft to the deepest part of the park for the 3rd out. Have to think that ball leaves most every other park.

yeah, some misfortune there for the Fightins (and Sosa). 10-15 yards toward the line, it's a HR.

Wheeler is pitching great. Valdez is pitching really well, but he's been scrambling.

Hoskins seems lost at bat, which is not helping

Two balls down the 3rd base line foul by literally a quarter inch. Add in Sosa's at bat and I feel like we're snake bitten so far.

Sosa is the sneaky part of the Phillies line-up. He's going to make a difference in the end.

Those Houston fans are lame, Valdez going for 5 k's in a row and no one is standing with a 2 strike count.

This catcher steals a lot of strikes
The Castellanos call was still atrocious regardless of "framing"...

As someone on twitter said, Castellanos finally draws a walk despite his reputation and yet gets rung up on a ball...smh 🤷‍♂️

Wheeler is chased in the bottom of the 6th, as the Astros get 1st & 3rd, 1 out.

Alvarado coming in for the Fightins

Well that pitching change didn't work out so well for the Fightins.

3-1, Astros, in the bottom of the 6th

Well, that pitching change didn't go as planned. A rare move by Thomson which hasn't worked this post-season.

Phils still have 9 outs, but karma has not been with us since the beginning, as I mentioned in an earlier post. I didn't even get upset after the HR. Whether they come back or not, it's been a hell of a ride.
