then you overshot the pin by at least 100 yards. It's the second shortest par 3 on the course playing right around 120 yards.
I have been playing the course usually twice a week during Spring-Fall for the last 3 years and 84 is the best I've mustered. But, I am not a very good golfer and really struggle on the closing 4 to 5 holes. Pulled a 38 out of my *** one day on the front, then again, the front is where you score.
If you haven't played out there in a few while come on out and play a round the next time you're in Starkville. We have really done a lot in the way of making it a place for people that aren't students to enjoy themselves. In the near future we are hoping to renovate the clubhouse as we have outgrown its current size tremendously.
To add a bit, during the summer, I play Patrick Farms, Castlewoods, Caroline, the Refuge, and an occasional round at Whisper Lake, Niknar, and Bovina. Our course is in better shape than all of those. We really take care of it. It's a very enjoyable 18 holes, and though we can't legally sell beer, "brown bag" is definitely permissable.
