Too many national voters who have little real knowledge about Big East ball and just think of Slick Rick. In fairness, the Johnnies have played an aggressive schedule. Then again they have lost all those tough matchups except for Baylor. Not sure why SJU could be ahead of us at this stage. They have played some good programs though.
We lack a signature win. NC State and K State wins were nice but they are not ranked teams. Unfortunately a Nova win --which won't be easy-- won't move the needle much either. It's probably gonna take the Nova win and a loss from one or more of the teams ranked 20-25. Wouldn't hurt if Kentucky lost a trp game game to Bellarmine.Man talk about big east bias alive and well
A big east team 11-1 with 2 quad 1 wins
2 quality road wins and not ranked.
As I said previously probably count on 2 hand the amount of times thats happened in 46 years.
Maybe/probably is a BE bias, but USC who is 12-1 and beat us head to head is only ranked 24th a few spots ahead of us.Man talk about big east bias alive and well

We can really earn our way comfortably into the rankings if we beat UConn at the Rock on 1/13. We did it last year with our pathetic roster.

Exactly…wasn’t Rutgers ranked at the beginning of last year??I'd rather get recognized at the end of the season.
But not anymore and that's what counts.NC State was 23 at the time
