Jay Williams in the studio said that is what he heard. And to be fair, that was a number that was out there for a long time. I know it didn’t wind up being accurate, and someone acting in the capacity as a journalist — even if it’s a guy on a studio panel — ought to be a little more careful. He qualified it a little, but no one heard that part.

And even that number was too low. We never had anything close to just $1.5M in NIL money for this current team.

All year I kept posting we were near $6.0M and if needed could have bumped that figure up a little.

Also why Sha needs to get so much better on the promotional part of the job as long as he’s on our sideline.
