Tremendous coach but like many coaches, they have a sick obsession with officials. He enters every game like he is on the floor playing 1 on 3 vs. the officials. Leads to a lot of ridiculous behavior.

was dan on the sidelines? Seemed odd that the ref was right there too.

dan has got to calm his *** down. the excess doesnt help, and is at minimum bad for him. I bet his wife is all over him on thIs stuff and he knows she is right. I was surprised at the rather calm reaction by his Dad. He was a lot calmer than me.

How about in BOTH interactions with Tracy Wolfson he was acting bizarre as well. Anyone see that? I think it was halftime and the end game interview.

The first time they cameras cut on to them before she was ready and he was staring off toward the other end of the court and he goes "don't ask me what im staring at" in what I thought was a belligerent way.

Then at the end of the game he's bizarrely complaining while live that "someone stole his pin." What a thing to say in the immediate moments after you won a historic game that you shouldve lost to go to the Final Four. Looney toon level weirdness.

The ref was coming up to him close to sideline. Probably to tell him they were going to review the time left is my guess. It was loud so he got close to Danny. The bumping head seemed very odd.

He's a guy who has been through a lot, mentally and emotionally, and often wears that stuff on his sleeve. Remember he has said he seriously considered ending his life while a player at the Hall, and credits his brother and getting back into coaching at the HS level with turning his life around (along with his wife/other family). He's also a unique personality and frankly kind of an "odd duck" in various respects. Great, great, great coach, and most of the time I find his interviews or his antics humorous and charming in a weird way.

The interactions with the referees though or other teams fans are definitely a bit much and borderline psychotic at times.

Given how mental he is, this isn't a guy that I see doing this at the collegiate level in his mid/late 60s or 70s like some of the other greats. But who knows I could be wrong there.

Kevin Willard and Danny are both unusual and unique individuals in their own ways. I don’t see either one changing much. Maybe it’s the coach’s son syndrome?????

Huley is bizarre but the media is always looking for a story to promote.Unbeliable game and ending. The jackass Duke announcer was allegedly calling for a technical foul. There would have been a riot.

Sean Miller went ballistic on one of his assistants when Mack hit that jumper in the first four game against NC State with barely any time left after the AC sprinted onto the floor. I think technically the refs could have called a tech in that spot, and Miller knew it, even though IMO it was smart to swallow the whistle there.

What are the odds Hurley gets T'd up in the finals? Pretty good I'd say, certain refs don't like getting shown up.
