Top 20 breakout player, not so sure about that. But he will be better and he will be a contributor at what is now one of our two positions of strength. Still only coming into his soph season. Plenty of room for growth.
I really liked Godswill last year. Thought he had potential. But not sure our roster is set for him to break out this year. Would be great if we could somehow play two bigs together once in a while.
Didn't read the article but context for those that don't listen to Jon Rothstein podcast regularly, he has a very specific definition for "breakout player". They cannot have averaged 10ppg or more the prior season.
For example, Tahaad Pettiford is poised to have a monster breakout year, but he would not be eligible by Rothstein's parameters.

So we are hearing Hines will most likely be starting by BE play BUT ALSO Godswill is going to be a breakout player?

Per Jaden Daly, here's what Sha said--which seems to suggest (as usual) that Rothstein knows nothing.
“I just think early on, in the summer, they were here telling guys how it’s gonna be, telling guys about me and my coaching style, what I like, what I don’t like. I see both of them coming along. Godswill was hurt during the summer, so now he’s coming back and trying to get back into it, but it’s a lot of competition. That’s how I wanted it and that’s how it is. And when you talk to these guys today, they’re gonna tell you guys that there’s a lot of competition out there. To me, I’m looking to see who’s gonna rise to the top.”
