The Coke machine is just the beginning. If a national minimum wage hike goes through, McDonald's and other fast food chains will likely switch to a user interface to place orders and pay. You'll just touch the picture of the Big Mac and swipe your card.

The Panera down the street from me is all automated in that manner. Minimal human interaction with the lady who puts my bag of food on the shelf, get to pour my own coffee and out the door in about a minute. Huge fan.

The only thing i wish 'doba had that moe's does=jalapeno's. But Moe's is pretty bad, at least when it comes to eating a burrito bowl.

Is there a better fast food chicken restaurant then Bojangles? I don't think so. KFC is good, Popeyes is ok, and Zaxbys is awful. I've never had Raising Canes.

Those coke machines are trash. No matter what flavor you choose (regular coke 100% of the time for dad) you get traces of some awful orange sherbet diet dr pepper that the neck in front of you got. Gross.

I will shoot that damn thing out of the sky pdre.

Frankfort is finally getting a chick fil-a. And a second qdoba on my side of town. For once something good happens to me haha

- Moe's fan. Everything there has a little extra kick to it, IMO.

Had Qdoba yesterday for lunch and it reminded myself why I'm always disappointed. Nothing had any flavor except for the Cholula sass.

- Wodie is the absolute master at GYERO but his tweet machine skills are marginal. "Touch boy", followed homophobic slurs and other stuff that is borderline non understandable.

- "Back to Back"by Drake is a good jam. That beat hits.

- This run of weather is on point. Really makes me yearn for November.

Yep.

140 characters where he can't get cute showing off that superior formatting really hampers him, IMO.

Only thing I enjoy is the random retweets of same-named GYERO posters.

Went to a fast food place in Knoxville last month and this was already set up. Order and pay at a kiosk then they call you when it's ready.

-People should be paid based on market and their ability. Period. Pretty much the core of our economic model. Not to go all Ron Swanson but... yeah.

-Grr windows pushing an update has my morning touched. Can it, Joey. I'm not switching to Mac and no it won't change my life.

There isn't a situation where I want to see a woman actually be knocked out... no matter if it's by another woman in a "sport" or not.

11th grade hair pulling in the hallway by some girls where no one has a chance of being hurt... whatever and sometimes hilarious.

MMA as a whole is terrible but women actually fighting as a "sport" is gross.

MMA indeed is terrible but I kind of enjoy youtube cat fights. The really redneck one where the girl gets smoked by a shovel is hilarious on SO many levels. TS.

Moe's might be the worst chain restaurant on earth. Seriously.
Yes. Awful. Chipotle for a healthy lunch. Doba when I want a serious burrito.

Chase, how did those golf balls work out for you? Forgot the name.
Reminded me, who orders those 55 golf balls that are advertised to death on PGAN?

The best fights in high school were, without question, chick fights. Dude fights were always 99% posturing and trying not to look bad. Chicks wanted to inflict as much damage as possible.

Breaking up girl fights was the worst working in the high school. They just grab hand fulls of hair and refuse to let go making it really hard to separate them.

Got hit in the back of the head once when one girl decided to launch her shoe once they were separated.

Watched some 6 and 7 year old :)rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:) regional tournament baseball this weekend. The poor white trash factor was OFF THE CHARTS. Ejections. Fans jawing with other fans. Coaches jawing with opposing fans. Police called for people that refused to leave the property. And at the end of the 6 year old tourney, nothing like watching grown men stalking up and down the baseline, pumping their fists, screaming at the top of their lungs.

A kid came up with a chance to win it. "A base hit wins it Brody. MAKE YOUR DADDY PROUD!." Had I not feared a stabbing, I would have asked him if he would have still been proud if Brody struck out.

Also, random annoyance: The baseball parents (99.9999% of the time, it is the mothers) that don't know the lingo, even though their kids have played for years. Yesterday one posted on Facebook following a win in a tourney semi-final: "We won the semifinal championship!". Then, "(some kid) hit two over the fence homeruns!"

We hosted 9U Regional Tournament. No ejections. Kids played with each other in between games. Basketball, HR Derby, Dodgeball, Wiffle Ball, BBQ dinner. Pretty dope actually. Kids and parents had a blast.

"Duh" theory on these things...the less rough the site, the less rowdy the fans players and coaches.

Germantown, kel?

We were up there for the 7's. Everyone we played had great sportsmanship. Can't vouch for all the parents, but nothing stood out as outrageous. Coaches and kids were great though. Same with the state tourney. However, we did play in a Newburgh, IN tourney that was similar to what you described.

I helped coach my sons teeball team this year. Had some typical jessamine county dad on an opposing team bitching about my son sliding into first. I wanted to rip that mans throat out and strangle him with it while fire shot out of my eyes, so I can understand how things get heated in those games. I settled on just high fiving my son and telling him I loved him.

I can understand the over the fence Homerun. Lot of inside the park homers at that age.

Fair point. I should have clarified that comment was from an 11 year old tournament they were posting about. Inside the park homeruns in that age group are almost non-existent. (I'm not counting singles plus 3 throwing errors)

I get it though. I watch a lot of NFL and NBA draft coverage and the two things you know will come up when they discuss an early round pick are a) competitiveness and competency in the sport shown in elementary school and b) the shrewdness of the kid's parents holding them back a year or two so they'd have an advantage on school teams at an early age.

So obviously stakes are high.

I disagree a bit. These are the same families, fans, etc that you see year to year different places, and I've seen the behavior at other parks.

You missed some of the good stuff. 6 year old final last night got pretty heated. 2 coach ejections from one team. Fans yelling at each other. Coaches yelling at fans. Granted, it was getting late, and the kids had played a ton of games, and I'm sure most people were fairly exhausted. The kids were all great. Didn't see anything bad our of any of the players the whole tourney.

Yeah, I have no interest whatsoever in visiting Africa...or the Middle East for that matter.

Well, actually, South Africa would be cool.

I can confirm, Iraq sucks.
Dubai seems like it could be cool, but I'm never going anywhere near it again.

Late, but I don't fault anyone for their travel preferences. People should visit places that they enjoy, be it Africa, HHI, Gatlinburg, whatever. That being said, Boat's sentiment basically sums up the myopic view that most of 'MURICA seems to have with respect to the Middle East.

I spent several days last week in Jordan visiting Petra and the Dead Sea with a stopover in Dubai on the way over (first trip to Jordan, 3x to the UAE). Petra was incredible, and pretty much empty relative to norms since so many western travelers are avoiding the area altogether (good for me, bad for their tourism) despite the fact the country is very stable. It's basically akin to people not visiting North America b/c there's drug violence in Sinaloa, Mexico.

Got to fly Emirates First Class on the flight over to Dubai. They have on-board shower spas for passengers in F, which is completely ridiculous/unnecessary but awesome nonetheless.

- GYERO has officially made me loathe the idea of my kids playing youth sports.

- WTF does ukguy78 do for a living? Dude doesn't even bother with humble brags, just comes in and drops randoms that make even the likes of Worldwide Harris look like a poor.

Meh, if I want opulence in the desert, Vegas be fine. IMO

Trust me, everyone in here knows you have a pretty good handle on what you like. Nothing wrong with that at all. I've been to Vegas a time or 20 as well.

You're also just a good example of the point I was making regarding most Americans' views regarding the ME.

it is not a big deal and I'm probably being over sensitive because of the current outrage culture we live in...but it makes me uncomfortable reading tweets from people associated with UK & then UK media folks talking about how some football players chose to get baptized yesterday. Clemson's coach came under a bunch of criticism last season for having a "saved" event/celebration for some of his players.

Found it odd, too.

My daughter's last soccer game this season the ref lost it after (8 year old) girl got hurt and one of the parents mouthed off. She promptly tossed out the whole sideline of families watching the (U8) girls soccer game.

Eventually order was restored and the ref's brother put on a shirt and finished reffing the game. Then Kona Ice showed up.

North America is about 5X the size of the Middle East. Also, chances are just a tad better that there is a sleeper ISIS cell waiting to attack westerners in Jordan than in NA.
