Any All-Star games in the area for Griffiths, Ndongo or Davis?

Most players go in June (not a Rutgers thing, it's what the NCAA allows) - they can get in the gym, workout, take summer courses etc.To add on, any idea if these guys will be on campus over the summer? Or not until the fall?
Do you think we have a legit shot at Dame?Last night was a great game and I would like to play Hofstra at the RAC and not as a buy game during the last week of December every year. Good test.
Kudos to those 5000 plus who attended.
2 kids who I know Rutgers is getting involved with are Dame Adelekun and Joe Jones of Georgia State. Both would see considerable minutes.
Cliff is not an NBA player as of today and there are many ways being explored to get him NIL at Rutgers.
My hunch is that Paul,Miller and Reiber are not back, but no inside info.
The loss has nothing to do one way or the other with the Dylan decision.
Let's wait to see if Ace signs on the dotted line.No guaranteed there.
I don't want to sound like a know-it-all, but while we were successful I sounded the alarm bells after almost every game that the way we play and the minutes we allocated to 3-4 guys was potentially going to hurt us as the season wore on.For anyone asking where’s the depth, most teams don’t play more than 7-8 guys in real games. Palm, Reiber, Miller are fine end of the bench guys and if you think Pike’s bringing in more than 1-2 transfers you’re nuts.
If Cliff stays we aren't getting anyone nearly this good. It's common sense. Top 5's in the portal are going to places with starting roles availablePaul Atkinson (Yale) was great for Notre Dame. Jordan Brunner (Yale) was a very good rotation player for a 2 seed Alabama. Chris Knight (Dartmouth) was the starting center for 10 seed Loyola last year. Seth Towns (Harvard) was good for Ohio State until he got hurt.
Upgrading over Reiber is exactly the sort of thing we need to be doing.
OP knows his **** and is extremely well connected I can confirm. Hes the #1 basketball insider for RU bball and perhaps all of Rutgers athletics. Hes just a very unassuming poster though. But trust me, when he speaks, you listenOp loves posting cryptic stuff with little to no context
I think we all know that, sometimes it's hard to decipher what he's saying though. Definitely appreciate him sharing what he can thoughOP knows his **** and is extremely well connected I can confirm. He was atrocious. He was good at being a friend and cheerleader and interviewer. He was a great glue guy.
The "glue guy" designation is the most overused label in sports. He was atrocious. He was good at being a friend and cheerleader and interviewer.
Is there any expectations that Chol will play next season?
Never understood grabbing him and having him reclass. I always thought we were thin at the 4/5 this year and was hoping we’d get a grad transfer. Grabbing a senior in high school that wasn’t ready to contribute always confused me. Coach must have thought he was going to get more from certain guys.i dont actually get why posters are high on him. His offers all mid majors. Can he develop? Sure....thats going to take time but people are penciling him in as a rotation guy based on nothing right now
Not Dean. He is a junior and still doesn't have the strength to compete in the B1G.I'd be very happy if Wolf and Dean were my back up centers.
Follow AceJaMichael Davis, Bailey’s PG teammate from Atlanta, will be at RU next season. I feel that he may be key to keeping Ace‘s signing with us next year.
The Dean of 2022-23 maybeNot Dean. He is a junior and still doesn't have the strength to compete in the B1G.
Did he get weaker? He was below average last year and terrible this year. The Dean of 2022-23 maybe
How about the Dean of 2021-22
Not sure how he gets 23 mpg at Dartmouth and 30 mpg at Rutgers? Not sure where Hawk is coming from but Dame starts at Rutgers and plays 30 mpg.
He seemed to be closer to 30 recently, when not in foul troubleNot sure how he gets 23 mpg at Dartmouth and 30 mpg at Rutgers?
I put him at the end of my depth chart optimistically. Hope he’s not another Palmquist (I don’t think he is) and has more to his game than spot up 3’si dont actually get why posters are high on him. His offers all mid majors. Can he develop? Sure....thats going to take time but people are penciling him in as a rotation guy based on nothing right now
Maybe its just his coach's style. None of the player at Dartmouth played more than 30mpg on average. Not sure how he gets 23 mpg at Dartmouth and 30 mpg at Rutgers?
No dancing Dean...Jeez...I'd be very happy if Wolf and Dean were my back up centers.
High ceiling guy.i dont actually get why posters are high on him.
What makes Caleb a guard ? Or Paul ? The fact that they bring the ball up court ? Once in the frontcourt Their skills don’t fit the definition. They are both 3-4 type players but as guards square pegs in round holes for us. You want to know what a guard is ? Speedy Claxton. Brandin Knight. Maybe Simpson becomes that. Paul and Caleb are not real guards.Yup - 3 guards on the floor most of the time just like this season
Agreed 100% here, no sugarcoating. It should be expected. This was an epic collapse. Reminds me of 2013 football, and we all know what happened there.
Not acceptable to crumble that badly and lose in the first round of the NIT at home. If we lose some of these recruits, why be surprised?
Enough with the positivity crap. This was a meltdown for the ages.
Back in the day there was this guy @ Princeton, Bill something who was a lights out shooter. lolPaul Atkinson (Yale) was great for Notre Dame. Jordan Brunner (Yale) was a very good rotation player for a 2 seed Alabama. Chris Knight (Dartmouth) was the starting center for 10 seed Loyola last year. Seth Towns (Harvard) was good for Ohio State until he got hurt.

Jeff Towers vs. SEC lowlife boostersI have no inside on Ace except being told that the SEC types are still on him and have huge deep pockets and won't stop. Hopefully it won't matter as Knight has a serious in with him through a relative.
So is Dellquan.Ace and Griffiths are elite gets ....

I like this update on Ace betterI have no inside on Ace except being told that the SEC types are still on him and have huge deep pockets and won't stop. Hopefully it won't matter as Knight has a serious in with him through a relative.
Deeply concerning, but not unexpected. Many fans thought the collapse could have unfortunate consequences and this may be one.Last night was a great game and I would like to play Hofstra at the RAC and not as a buy game during the last week of December every year. Good test.

And Souf Manseh! In the case of Ralph Agee, yes, you should have trusted me over the staff.
I was just looking through the Recruiting/Commitments page over the weekend and I noticed Chol has no rating at all. I had some questions then that I would like to direct to my bar-mates here, if I could! Doesn't Rivals usually catchup with players' ratings after they commit somewhere, even if unrated previously. Was this because he committed late and/or then re-classified? Was he a totally off the radar type of kid...and should we be concerned about that? Was this an example of Pike and the coaches being blown away by the young man and this was as close as we can legally get to stashing someone with perceived potential - offer, then re-classify, then redshirt (was he redshirted?). Thanks for sharing your expertise...this stuff is interesting...but gets confusing. GO RU!High ceiling guy.
High risk, he may never be a B1G level player, high reward - big upside at 6'8" with a big frame and could be a terrific stretch 4, small ball 5 kind of guy.
His jump shot looks clean, he gets it off quickly with solid footwork on catches and off a dribble or two - with that size, that is very interesting.
He also looked like he'd never played man-to-man defense before in his RU appearances.
Seems like a solid fit culture-wise too
Glad the signing period starts in only 4 weeks so RU can get Davis and Ndongo signed. Hopefully Jamichael will be really happy and successful here.JaMichael Davis, Bailey’s PG teammate from Atlanta, will be at RU next season. I feel that he may be key to keeping Ace‘s signing with us next year.
