Before game Friday a few of us were speculating what Dawes would earn in this market? Could really shoot the 3 and play very good defense.
Probably a nice amount between the 3% and defensive ability.

Also Middleton was a "Sha guy" too, I believe. At least at one point.

Insanity. We need a complete reset before this really goes off the rails and is unrecoverable.

I would suggest smart money agrees with you. With the only question being when.

Clearly they want to play only by rules that are advantageous to them and not the sport.

This narrative needs to slow down. People are acting like we came back this year with 80% of the same roster like in old times and did this turnaround.

Last years 7 win team has absolutely nothing to do with this years.

And just as quickly as we improved we can easily go back to 7 wins next year based on who leaves.

He gets credit for finding better players and getting them to play hard. But my original point remains true. Is it so hard for you people to not overthink everything.

Yes, but I think that has more to do with it being held in NYC. If the tourney were held in Cincinnati or Indianapolis it wouldn’t be as big of a deal.

The time is now for the Big East to expand. It is clearly evident, we can not go on as a 3-bid league. Another few years of the league being like this and we’ll be labeled a mid major with the Big Ten and ACC doing everything to poach UCONN and St Johns.

Newsflash it is a bball only league it is a mid major league high level but mid major...no to expansion...I agree about going on but the member institutions got to figure that out. Have better ooc results.

Do not expand. If they expand, every team loses money. Solution is simple, win meaningful OOC games. Some teams with big budgets really underperformed and that did not help the cause. Even SJ had a rough OOC.

That’s the point, the BET is in MSG where all the original member fan bases can drive or train to NYC. It’s been in the same place for 40+ years. It’s electric. Who wants to be in Cincinnati or Indianapolis where the early rounds are barely half filled. Or Charlotte or Greensboro, lots of Denny and Waffle Houses in NC.
