I refuse to believe that Mike Leach will be taken away from us now, it’s not his time. Hail to the Pirate
nurses gossip. doctors gossip. just take one nurse who was in the ER to call her boyfriend and he calls his friend etc.
I feel like that if this things turn's worse the University will want to inform the team before anything is announced publicly. We won't know anything before tomorrow morning. Everything else is just speculation.
AU Fan here! The Auburn fan base including myself are praying for the Leach family and you guys as a fan base. Have always loved the people of Starkville and rallying together with you all for Mike Leach and his family!
Huskers fan here. I've lived in Washington state my whole life and became a huge Leach fan while he was with Wazzu. This is terrible news and I'm sick about it. So sorry Hail State nation.
Seeing all the tweets from coaches and players tonight (Mike Leach is the #3 trending topic nationally right now), it’s kind of amazing how far the Leach tree spread over his career.
As much as this situation sucks I’m so glad that college football fans are supporting others teams and coming together this is SO much bigger than a game. HAIL STATE!!

It's not just us. It's a human nature to try to defend yourself instead of realizing how the moment is bigger than how you look to the rest of the world right now. I wish this had an auto refresh feature on the thread. My Weather websites does when we have an ongoing severe weather outbreak.

Coach Stallings is 87 years old. It sadly will not be long before this happens to y'all. That is just a fact. We will be here for y'all when that time comes. Just like my grandmother put on her firs and pearls to go pay her respects to Coach Bryant when he was buried.

Went to Ole Miss, got no love for this news. 61 is way, way too young for this. Leach is a great coach, and I hope this news is wrong and he pulls through. Awful.
I never thought I would see the day where Rebs and Bulldogs would come together. Shows how much this man meant to the SEC, college football, and the fans. A truly sad day for the sport

USC fan here. CML is an absolute legend and gave us great battles during his time at Wazzu. The man was instrumental in so many coaches careers including Rileys. His time at State has been too short.

Ole Miss fan here. I’ve always loved Coach Leach. His press conferences were enjoyable and his tweets were interesting, yet hilarious. This is bigger than football and our rivalry, and I’m praying Coach powers through this.
