Man, can he shoot the three, in the first few minutes of the half. Kinda crazy how he has ripped it up early in a few games. I assume its an anomoly, but if i were Budd, Mike is getting the ball early if he has a look.

We had a lot of guys helping yesterday and i hope, and think, that is going to be common this season.

He flashed earlier in some of the non-con games. He’s emerging as a really important player now that Parker is at PG (not going great) and Felton is hurt. Although he’s better than both of them to begin with.

I only caught up on highlights for most of the last two after catching a bit today. But I think the key to us being decent in the Big East is going to be how Williams and ASM perform. If they can consistently play tough and make shots, I think we will be a much better team because Simpkins and Fisher should be fine enough, Budd will be solid and the bigs can probably hold up enough combined over the long haul. Also interesting will be how we are allowed to play with the press and half court defense. The Big East officials tend to allow more contact than other leagues and that should benefit us.
