I was well aware of Dual getting in there, but I had forgotten all about Toumi ... that he even existed, I mean. Obviously, there isn't much chance to see Hawai'i play on TV, and I think I once knew and then forgot five seconds later that Yacine had wound up there.
In any case, it would be fun to see both of them win a game, if nothing else than to have some mid-major chaos.
I know that Rutgers doesn't deserve to play in any tournament. But I also understand how the players in a program that actually played better than expected finishing the season 5-5, albeit against the dregs of the Big Ten,would want to play in Vegas.
I haven't been able to read Carino's take on our passing, but am curious how he sees it compared to what he wrote in 2024 when we accepted the NIT invite but other programs did not (also cannot access this now for some reason: https://www.app.com/story/sports/co...v114918d--54--b--54--&gca-ft=184&gca-ds=sophi).
