Was out to dinner last night when I overheard the table next to us discussing the $30MM NIL donation. At the end of maybe 10 minutes of wondering if it was the crime Luchesse family they concluded it was likely untrue. Kind of funny how a story can spread.
I would have posted it under the original thread but I see that it has been locked. As Myra Fleener says in Hoosiers it’s good to know somethings don’t change.

The thread was locked for the same reason the RIP thread was locked. Once a political statement was made which would have become contentious the thread was no longer open.

Not sure why that is so hard to understand. Follow the rules of this board which have been in place for more years than I can remember and you are free to discuss the subject at hand.

I applaud your judgement in shutting down threads that turn political. There's no place for that stuff on a basketball board.
