Yes, they said they will stay in Arizona until Wednesday then fly out to San Fransico. They don't want to stay in San Fransico for the whole time and would rather stay in Arizona. I don't blame them.

Same, San Francisco is like 50 miles away from the 49ers stadium. They should probably be more logistically efficient in choosing a place to stay.

Actually it might good thing It is like one trip
Instead of two. Better than going from Jersey
twice.
Yes . I know the giants requested this.
But it just seems odd having the second game for an east coast team on a Thursday night against a west coast team.

You're not the victim here, no one is picking on the Giants.
No one is saying the giants are the victim. I said this scenario doesn’t happen often - with an east coast team playing 2 games on the west coast in 5 days . You said it does . So I am asking you to prove it

I remember the Seahawks, may have been the Niners, having a similar schedule issue and but West Coast to East Coast a few years back. They stayed and practiced in Ohio for the week.

Is it possible the coach was holding back to
keep the real Jones for the San Fran game thinking Arizona was an easy win?

But this is 2 games in 5 days. I have heard of teams playing two Sunday’s in a row on opposite coasts . This seems rare

I can't find anything on it, but I think with the instance I mentioned, the games were a week apart, but they still chose to handle it this way. I think it's rare and probably unfortunate that the NFL scheduled the Giants this way. Staying out there is the only way to handle it.

Giants asked for back to back out there . NFL wanted the matchup for Thursday night. So much for player safety - 2 games in 5 days after a cross country flight.
It does give them a nice break when they get home Friday though

Anyone remember last time he came back from a sprained ankle? He was below average when he came back. I read this is a grade 2 sprain. Not good for him or the Giants

No doubt he is a talented player. But…
not at #2, at that price in a cap world, and in this QB centric football century.

Heard Boomer read a stat this morning. Since 1970, counting Thanksgiving Day games,Thursday night games, teams that were double digit favorites were 40-4 straight up and 28-16 against the spread. Not feeling very good about my G-men tonight, lol.

I'd say Thomas and Barkley out is the more relevant fact.

Tonight is gonna be ugly IMO. I fear for Jones's health going against that D with Thomas out

That’s a genuine concern. Designed plays to get it out of there quick and see what Bieda and Dixon can do. Would help if the D can get a takeaway and set up a score too. Kinda sounds like what we need to do at Michigan. 😁

Giants were missing left tackle Thomas and left guard Ben Bredeson.
Hard to play a team like SF with your left OL MIA.
Giants are so injured I think they need to investigate their S&C program and stop blaming the turf

Every year it's the same old song and dance.
It is.
Too much heavy lifting is no good but Giants have long loved size and strength (like Flowers)
If a Subaru Impreza can max 120 mph do you want to hit that limit 2-3 times a week?
Of course you would start having problems.
But the Giants love the guys benching/squatting like Olympic lifters.
I see vids of Saquon lifiting crazy weight and I'm never surprised he gets hurt so much.

Stanford stopped having its players lifte heavy weights and their injuries went down 70% in a couple years. They never lift heavy at the combine so Giants wouldn't draft them. They loved Will Hernandez at 6'2" 330 and doing 37 reps - but he couldn't move.

Stanford hasn’t exactly been lighting it up in the last decade plus. I understand your point, just a bad comparison.

Just stand in the endzone and stare at the WR while the pass comes from behind you for a touchdown.

Seattle is without most of their starting secondary and they still can’t pass. They’re going from bad to worse.

Starting Center and Bellinger out for rest of game. This team is made of glass just like the last 10 years

Probably the worst special teams unit in the NFL. Already 6 bad errors and its not even halftime. Dopped punt, ill advised kickoff runback, roughing penalty, missed pinning the ball inside the 5 on a punt, let the ball drip instead od fair catch on Seahawks punt...ball pinned on their own 2.
