Daboll better not have used all 3 TOs just to run out the clock.
At least try to get a FG before the half.

Probably the worst special teams unit in the NFL. Already 6 bad errors and its not even halftime. Dopped punt, ill advised kickoff runback, roughing penalty, missed pinning the ball inside the 5 on a punt, let the ball drip instead od fair catch on Seahawks punt...ball pinned on their own 2.

Let's add some more before the half with running into the kicker and holding on the same punt to the list.

Did I hear that right. We’ve scored 9 points the entire season in the 1st half and this is game 4?

I don’t understand what they’re even trying to do offensively. It’s nothing but stick routes. Where’s Darren Waller? Hes running a lazy flat route every play.

Giants finally get an All Pro OT and he's hurt all season.
I knew that TE Waller was going to be over-hyped
1 catch for 5 yds tonight.
On other teams the TE gets QB out of trouble but not NYG

I don't really follow the NHL and the NBA to me isn't like when I was growing up in the early 60's-90's. Coming off the Mets season and now as a Giants fan, It's Rutgers Football/Basketball all in all the time. Geez, college football Saturdays in the Fall and College basketball from November-March until Spring training, pro sports has sucked big time in this tri-state area in 2023. PS. Without a running game, Jones doesn't have a chance.

I wanted to blame Jones but as the game progressed you can see he has no time back there. The OL is horrendous. It's like no one was blocking. That is on the GM and coaches.

It seems like a lot of teams have bad OLs - they can't block anymore. Nobody plays in practice - just lift weights and run drills in helmets and shorts. I keep seeing media trying to equate Micah Parsons to LT but teams could block in the 80s - and they had FBs. Blacking schemes were man to man vs zone blocking. Zone creates confusion and demands big, lumbering OL to be athletic. LT would be rampaging today

Defenders run right around Evan Neal in NFL but not at Alabama where Neal excelled

"The Lions took running back Jahmyr Gibbs out of Alabama in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft, and after getting a taste for what work is like in the NFL, Gibbs has concluded that it’s easier than at Alabama.

Gibbs was asked to compare an NFL practice with the practices Nick Saban ran at Alabama, and Gibbs said in the NFL the coaches are just trying to help you get better. Saban was trying to drive them to the brink.

“Saban, we’re probably hitting every day. Full pads, in the heat for two hours. Here, we get good work in, but they don’t try to kill us,” Gibbs said.

Gibbs is not the first former Alabama player to opine that practice is easier in the NFL. Saban is known for running a grueling strength and conditioning program and full-contact practices.

Giants are 32nd in Offense, 30th in Defense and Last in Point Differential (-76).

That's not good.

Last night was the first chance I had to watch the Giants this season. It was like watching a train wreck on the news. There’s nothing you can do but feel sorry for everyone involved and get angry at the incompetence of the leadership that led to the problem.

Here is the Giants offensive line ranking according to PFF for the last 10 years. Multiple coaching/GM changes during this time. So it cant be coaching. I also believe they have drafted more O lineman in the first 3 rounds then any other team. It's crazy to think that the only hit they have made has been Andrew Thomas in 10 years. JMS is still a rookie but seems promising. Something has got to change.

It’s crazy how many have not panned out going back to Flowers. I really thought they had something with the Will Hernandez pick but… Thought Neal would be a slam dunk pick - too early to give up on him though.

A main problem was that Jerry Reese was often trading/releasing OL to get young players cheaper. Post Super Bowl, OL was an afterthought for Reese and it was always a patchwork and never refreshed. He was focused more on defense and some offensive skill spots. He lucked-out on JPP and Beckham - a second choice pick made after his first WR was taken. After years of bad OL play Reese picked Flowers and he couldn't move well. Reese had drafted Justin Pugh in 1st and he was good but Reese let him go to Cards after he hurt his back. Reports are he is on his way badk to the Giants but he wont start

They also have one of the least intimidating WRs rooms. There is no one that threatens defenses.

When Philly blew-up Giants so easy last year I wondered if Giants were doing something to give away plays.
Since they continued to be bad, I wondered if it was even more true that teams had "tells" from Giants. Tonight I saw this:
