Netherlands - South Africa has been hugely entertaining so far, with the Dutch up 1-0 at the half, but with Kgatalanta from RSA looking like the most exciting player in women's soccer. She has to be the fastest women's soccer player I've ever seen and she has skills - but the NED keeper has been up to the task, making at least 2-3 great saves on her shots.
Looks like much better team showing during the National Anthem. Not asking much . . . just act like you appreciate being there and play like a champion.
This is not the same US team we’ve seen so far. Still have to show they can put it in the net though.
Nobody on the field today can match the athleticism of Rodman. Need to get a goal. US needs to turn the game over to their superior athleticism. Technical attacks are fine. But just let the women go at the defense.

Another great save on Morgan's header. Smith is not playing well - losing the ball and going for too many shots when she has possession. Williams really added some great energy on the right wing since she's been on. Extra time - this one is looking like PKs - hate PKs (and Musovic has played great).
My god why is Rapinoe taking the corners? She can’t even reach the goal anymore. I assume she is only in for PK’s.
Agreed. She was our best player up front and Rapinoe has done nothing so far.
I think they were running plays for Ertz on the near post, but yeah, her service wasn’t great. Rapinoe will almost definitely take a PK, but I thought she shouldn’t have come in until the second OT.
However this game goes, our coach has just made a number of weird roster moves throughout the game. Is he over his head or just our coaching himself?
She’s totally in poor form. Should never have been on the roster.
Asking a lot to have someone take a PK who didn't play the whole tourney, but Mewes does it.
Coach should be mentally evaluated for taking Morgan out.
I can't stand the ones that go over the bar. Make the goalie make a save. Just bails them out to kick it over the bar.
Can't win a PK contest if 3 of your shots miss the frame completely.

really.. alex morgan and rapino's spots should have gone to new blood.
that "technology" stuff is BS.. no way it would be that clear.. same for the offsides "technology".. it is just a graphic that supports the call.. total BS.. the tech they would need for that.. to really do it.. there'd be sensors on everything.. every panel of the ball, every fingertip and toe and butt and knee.. it is BS "technology".
Coach needs to be fired. Didn’t get team ready. Too late on the subs. Pulled best attacking player and had 3 missed pks…
Why does it take so long for them to show replays? Man that was close on that last shot.

I have been anti Neaher for years but I have to give credit she played very well today.
Agree on Rapinoe and O'Hara, but not Morgan - Morgan played well tonight.
