World Series. Game 7 Yankees vs. Dodgers. Dodgers up 2-1 in the ninth. There are two outs and a man on 3rd base. Judge is up. Does he

A. Get a base hit to tie the game
B, Get a home run to win the game or
C. Strike out.....Dodgers win thaaaaaaa Dodgers Win.

Are the Dodgers Dodgers the same as the LA Dodgers?

OK, so there are 54k in the stands, and everyone over the age of 50 is thinking, "I wish it were Yogi at the plate."

Wow even Met fans, are enjoying watching a Yankee
player. Though the reasoning is sick. But enjoy, while it last. Can't enjoy their own team, so they relish in Yankee hate. Something to be proud of, losers literally losers.

Will always enjoy watching the Mets win or lose you know similar to OUR Scarlet Knights. Will also enjoy watching Judge hit many home run bombs this year. With that said, waiting for Some yankee fans to come back to reality with their expectations regarding Judge.

One of those rare times when I agree with a move by Girardi.
Yet he claimed he wasn't even aware of it and just wanted to get him some rest. Those 2 innings off should definitely keep him fresh the rest of the way.

He had already been to the plate for FOUR at bats when he was replaced.

Of course Girardi did it to stop the streak but he cannot admit that. It was a smart move. It was probably weighing on Judge's mind, at least to some extent. Now it is over.

No, you can hate the Yankees no matter what your team is doing. It's a regular part of baseball for anybody who isn't a Yankees fan. They are the Notre Dame of baseball.

I don't understand, if they are like ND they are greatly loved, Notre Dame for decades after decades the most loved team
in sports. Seems to me because you hate these two teams you think every one feels this way. N D is so popular they don't
need a conference.

Is... Rhys Hoskins?

(LOL)
Is this that much sillier than the Judge hype? At least Hoskins has a track record of monster power numbers in the minors.
(Just to be clear, I'm not being serious. I'd be happy if he's the next Pat Burrell.)

Just as silly. But damn now I know how the Yanks fans felt when Judge was crushing it. Damn.

And what was not to like. Dude is huge and an athlete. But to compare any player, especially a rookie to Babe Ruth is just silly.

ND is loved by ND fans, and there are a lot of them. But they are hated by pretty much everybody else. They are college football's team everybody loves to hate. Same as the Cowboys, the Yankees, Duke basketball, Man U, and Martin Shkreli.

I think that things have changed a lot and the Ighting Firish aren't what they used to be.
I think Michigan is the team everyone likes to hate....Baylor a close second.

Michigan is pretty hatable, but to me, it's just Harbaugh. He leaves and they go back to being just a very good team. Most people who hate ND do so from deep down!

You are correct about Hoskins' track record; here is how he has compared to Judge at the same age and same level:

Minors (last 1.7 years in minors)
Judge. Hoskins
AB. 830 -- 899
Hits. 217 -- 254
HR. 39 -- 67
RBI. 137 -- 207
K's. 242 -- 200
Ave. .282 --.283

Majors (both brought up in early August)
Judge. Hoskins
Year. 2016 2017
AB. 84 -- 56
Hits. 15 -- 16
HR. 4 -- 9
RBI. 10 -- 21
K's. 42 -- 12
Ave. .179-- .286

I remember saying Adam Dunn earlier in this thread and was laughed at. I guess not so funny anymore.

Planning's ability to bring any and every thread back to President Trump is pretty impressive. Disturbing, but impressive.
