Thamel’s tweet reads to me that he can still coach from the box?
"The Big Ten is expected to discipline Michigan for the in the in-person scouting and ongoing sign-stealing investigation and will prohibit coach Jim Harbaugh from being on the sideline until the conclusion of the regular season, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel. Harbaugh will be allowed to coach during the week, according to sources."

If this results in Michigan leaving the Big Ten (yes UM is that pissed off) will the remaining 13 still be gloating about this? Tear up that TV contract and give back the money. What if USC and others join them? I say again, UM (not just the athletic program) is mad enough to do this

Yeah, that's gonna happen. They're gonna walk away from the CIC? Really?

So are you saying USC and UCLA and Oregon and Washington will back out of the B1G, and UM will join the PAC-6?

That would be taking "childish and petty" to new levels. Have some respect for yourselves, michigan.

Michigan leaving the Big 10? hahaha that is absolutely laughable. Thanks....I needed that after a rough day at the office.

You know you are just reinforcing why most everyone thinks Michigan fans are the most pompous pricks out there.

He can't be at the game but not on the sidelines. He can't be at games at all. Straight from the letter from Pettiti to UofM:

"Having determined that the University violated the Sportsmanship Policy, the Conference
imposes on the University the following disciplinary action: Effective immediately, the
University football team must compete without its Head Football Coach for the games remaining
in the 2023 regular season. This disciplinary action shall not preclude the University or its
football team from having its Head Football Coach attend practices or other football team
activities other than the game activities to which it applies
."

Oh SH*T everyone. Don't say anything bad about Michigan's well documented, irrefutable evidence of cheating....We don''t want them to ditch the conference and join the MAC.

By the way, Desmond Howard is coming off as an entitled UM tool.

UM is mad because they cheated and got caught? I would agree about due process here but they must have good enough reason to levy this penalty. But, MU got what amounts to a slap on the wrist at this time and they will leave the conference because of that?

Remarkably stupid sentiment. Michigan did a very dumb thing. Michigan got caught (although their actions were so flagrantly idiotic getting caught was inevitable) got a slap on the wrist and now they have to deal with it.

If your ego is so large that you would do something so enormously self-damaging as leaving the best, most affluent conference, well, buh bye.
